If you have a phone call from prospective buyer, who's very interested in your bike DO NOT tell them where you live, this is a big mistake. Let them view your bike away from your home address so that would be theives do not know where the bike is kept.

I bought my 2002 YZ250F 4 stroke Yamaha on Saturday 1st May and it was stolen from my garage in East Sussex, in the early hours of Wednesday 5th May, together with a brand new pair of size 12 Berik, by Madif motor cycle boots and box. Frame no. G321.011 775 Engine no. CG10C.011609. I bought it from a private house in Lymington, Hampshire. The colour was  blue and white, a crack in the rear mudguard had been recently repaired with fibre glass, there was a wear mark on the kick start. I believe the bike was spotted from the road whilst the garage doors were open, I live in a road where there is through traffic but most of it is local so I suspect it to be a local person Eastbourne/Hastings area. The burglary was well planned the security lights on the front of the garage was disarmed and the thieves entered via the back door after bolt cropping the lock, another internal garage security light was unplugged and the main doors were opened from the inside by removing the side bars from their housing. There is £100 reward to anyone who can give information leading to the recovery. Please call 07880727047.
