One week after two excellent points-scoring rides at the Grand Prix of Portugal, Elliot Banks-Browne was running in a strong fourth place in the British championships at Lyng – however, there was not to be a happy ending to the race.

Pushing hard behind Jason Dougan, Elliot makes a mistake in one of the hairpins in the top field – he was so ashamed of his error…

… he had to bury his face. Fortunately, he was up and running in no time and didn’t even lose a place….

...but when the Suzuki went bang and locked solid with just a lap to go an excellent ride was all over.
