AMA SX/MX schools

Atlantic Promotions is pleased to announce that it is bringing USA Motocross and Supercross training to the United Kingdom. Presented by skilled motocross and supercross professionals, each training school will run over a five-day period and is fully medically covered.

Priced at £90 a day, a maximum of forty riders will be accepted per school, at the beginning of which an initial assessment will be made to separate the riders by ability. The school will include professional fitness training and nutritional advice, a fitness evaluation and a training schedule and both on-track and classroom education, which will be alternated between the groups. Each student will be able to work on pre-diagnosed problem areas in a programme tailored to his or her personal requirements.

Spares, food and camping will be available on track, and safety equipment demonstrations and subsidised prices for such equipment will be available by on-site professionals to the students. Atlantic Promotions will provide rider management services for both the US and European markets on request, allowing the students to expand their options beyond the United Kingdom.

The first school will be presented by Jason Thomas, the second by Heath Voss, both accomplished AMA Pro riders. Other riders lined up include Ryan Abrigo, Tiger Lacey, Tyson Hadsell and Kevin Urquart.

Although a two-day option is available, the school has been condensed into a one week programme to cover all aspects. Prices:

- Full week: £450
- Two day course: £180
