If you've been lucky enough to attend a Red Bull X Fighters event, you'll know just what an awesome spectacle they are. As if FMX wasn't exciting enough, Red Bull's "FMX meets Bullfighting" concept blends the noise and thrills of FMX tricks with the tradition of another death defying sport to take it to an entirely new level of entertainment. You can watch it here.
The opening round of this year's five stage series is in the biggest bull ring in the world, Plaza de Toros Monumental in Mexico city. A croud of over 42,000 spectators is expected at the Ring to cheer, bang their drums and swing their white bandanas. The extravaganza will start with fireworks and will feature an entire spectrum of national traditions but the FMX is, of course, the highlight.
Some confirmed riders for Mexico are Robbie Maddison of Australia who holds the world record for the longest ramp jump- big air is guaranteed! Last years winner Dani Torres from Spain returns to the Red Bull X Fighters in Mexico to defend his title from 2007.
Freecaster.tv will be webcasting Live on this site the entire 2008 series which includes stops in Brazil, USA, Germany and Spain so you can watch all of the hair raising action from all over the world, where ever you are.
The Red Bull X Fighters in Mexico is on April 5 at 04:00 (CET), yes, that's 4am, with a Live Replay at 18:00 Saturday, April 5 (CET).
