Following the hugely successful 'Observed' photography exhibition of 150 Scottish Six Days Trial photos captured by the legendary Eric Kitchen that took place in Fort William during Scottish Six Day week G2F Media are now delighted to be able to announce a truly unique opportunity to own a real piece of trials history.
The 150 images were personally chosen by Eric himself from his own private collection of over 30,000 SSDT photos, many of which had not been seen in public before. This incredible collection of Scottish images covers the event right from 1970 through to the current day and includes a personal message from Thierry Michaud to Eric.
Eric has kindly agreed to put all 150 images up for grabs (to be sold as one lot), with the monies raised from the sale being donated directly to Cancer Research. This will be added to the funds already raised by
The photos include past winners such as Sammy Miller, Mick Andrews, Malcolm Rathmell, Sid Lampkin, Martin Lampkin, Yrjo Vesterinen, Toni Gorgot, Bernie Schrieber, Thierry Michaud, Jordi Tarres,
All the 10 x 6 inch approx (15 x 23 cm) mainly colour prints are mounted on black card and are captioned with the year, rider name, bike and the majority with specific locations. This collection is simply priceless. Those interested in owning this special piece of trials history should place an appropriate bid by either calling 0161 763 6660 or sending an e-mail to info@g2fmedia.com - the bidding process will close at 5pm on Friday 23rd May 2008.
