Jake Nicholls Crash at Donington

“It all started with Klemen Gercar dropping it on the downslope of the old finish line tabletop. He was okay but it left his bike in the middle of the track - it was early in moto one so there was lots of traffic coming over pretty quick even with the waved yellows.”

Most of them made it round okay but Jake and another rider collided as they came down the downslope - bit of a crossed lines moment, at speed...
James got away from his bike but Jake got trampled...
A final flip as they parted, just to add insult to injury.
By then the damage was done...
Fortunately the bike missed him this time as it dropped down.
Jake was not a happy looking camper afterwards – the final score was a bad collarbone break, a broken rib and a punctured lung.
